MatchSong works entirely on your phone. We don't collect, store or share any of your data.
Your videos and songs
The videos and songs you choose stay on your phone. MatchSong finds the song in your video and builds the new soundtrack on the device itself. Nothing is uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- Videos are chosen with Apple's photo picker, so MatchSong only sees the videos you pick, never your whole library.
- Songs are chosen with Apple's file picker, so MatchSong only sees the files you pick.
- Saving to your Photos uses add-only access: MatchSong can add your finished video, but cannot see or change your photos.
- Your projects are saved inside the app on your phone, and are removed when you delete them or the app.
No accounts, no tracking, no ads
MatchSong has no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It doesn't use your location, contacts, camera or microphone.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple through your Apple Account. We never receive your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether you have MatchSong Pro, so it can unlock exporting. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchases.
Children
MatchSong collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
